 Domain Parking
Ruby Dunes Hosting Service supports "domain parking" for
customers who wish to make use of a domain name without using it to address
its own site. This is accomplished by sharing the virtual IP address used
by a "normal" domain that is already hosted on an account at
Ruby Dunes Hosting Service.
The charge for this service is only a small setup fee of $10, with no
monthly recurring fee. An unlimited number of domains can potentially
be parked on any normal domain.
If you need to attach multiple domains to an account such that each domain
corresponds to a different site, you need to use normal domain hosting,
which costs $25 setup and $24.95/month for each domain.
For example, if you wanted your company's site to be addressable both as
www.myname.com and www.myname.net, you could attach
myname.com to your account for $25 setup and $24.95/month, and then
use our online Upgrade System to request that myname.net
be parked on myname.com for only $10 setup. The two domains
would then function identically for all intents and purposes.
Please note that regular NIC fees apply to all domains, and are billed
separately by Ruby Dunes Web Hosting for the appropriate NIC.
